Clark and Debra Wroten met in the San Diego, California are where Clark was stationed for his naval training. They were married there and will celebrate 43 years of marriage this year.
They have 2 children, Clark Wroten and Danyelle Williams, and 6 grandchildren
Their son, who was saved at an early age, prayed for his parents for 8 years and in September 1983 Clark and Debra surrendered their lives completely to God. After working for many years in the lumber industry they moved to Central California and started a Christian book store. After 3 years they sold the store and moved to Southern Oregon and helped in their local church for 6 years.
Their pastor sensed a call from God on their lives and sent them out to pioneer a church in Dorris, California. At the age of 50 both Clark and Debra totally turned their lives over to God and moved to Dorris to answer the call. After 12 years of pastoring that church the Lord spoke to them to turn the church over to another pastor and to step out to being a helper to other pastors. They felt God's call to come to Van Buren, Arkansas adn through a series of divine events are now co-pastors at East Gate Fellowship.
They feel that God has brought them here to be a part of the vision for the River Valley. As they continue to grow themselves they also want to see a unity of believers and a divine move of God that will impact this area for the Kingdom.
